Cookie policy
In short
Due uses no profiling cookies and hosts no third-party analytics. That is why you will not find a consent banner: there is nothing to ask you about.
What we actually use
Browser local storage (localStorage): it keeps your session token, your theme preference, the radio volume and your reading position in channels. It is not a cookie and it is not transmitted to anyone: it stays in your browser and is cleared when you log out or clear the site data.
The technical cookie due_pv: it is created only if you vote in a poll from the public voting page, and its only purpose is to prevent the same browser from voting more than once. It contains no personal data and does not track browsing.
External services
Some features load third-party content only when you use them: YouTube video previews (in no-cookie mode), GIF search and web radio streams, which your browser contacts directly. At those moments the content provider can see your IP address, as with any embedded content on the web.
If anything changes
If in future we introduce measurement tools that require consent, this page will be updated and the corresponding banner will appear before they are switched on.
